Shoe towers: Intelligent Fast Failure in action (in a safe environment)

It is always a good idea to practise a (new) skill as often as possible. In the Creativity, Innovation and Change course we were therefore given the task to build the highest shoe tower. Here are the towers we built:















If you don't have enough shoes to do this exercise don't despair. Another activity Jack Matson suggested was to build the highest paper tower out of a sheet of paper. Or how about trying the popsicle sticks experiment where the professor let his students build the tallest structure with popsicle sticks?!
