Photos: Solar eclipse 2021

Solar eclipses happen when the full moon moves in front of the sun. This happened on June 10, 2021. In the Montreal area, the 2021 solar eclipse was visible right at sunrise. However, the full eclipse would have been before sunrise (but then there is no sun). We got up really early, at 5am and drove to a dock from where we could see along the St. Lawrence River towards the east. The pictures are green because I used a green welding glass as filter.
